How I hacked my iphone (firmware 1.1.2)

Dang! iPhone is a beauty! Upgraded from the old firmware to the latest, 1.1.2 and heck, it did not work. haha. err. I managed to jailbreak it and unlock it successfully. Here is how I did it. You will need these iPhone firmware 1.1.1 iPhone firmware 1.1.2 anySIM1.2.1u Get these from their respective links I'd suggest. A detailed howto is here This step is necessary is done, already if you have upgraded it to firmware 1.1.2! Phase 1 :: Upgrade 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 Restore the iPhone to 1.1.2 firmware by putting the iPhone into DFU mode. Do this by pressing and holding the Home button, and the Sleep/Wake button. As soon as the screen goes black, let go of the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button. Connect the iPhone to iTunes and you will get this pop up. The iPhone will display this graphic.
